Three Wise Men specialises in fully integrated campaigns that are purposely designed to help change behaviour. In short we are a nimble creative agency that provides end-to-end campaign development, from concept through to production. For traditional media advertising, as well as digital and social media campaigns, online video content, channel planning and campaign strategy. We also have alliances with specialists in market research, brand activation, graphic design and public relations.
What we do
The partners in Three Wise Men are known for their work in social marketing communications. They have developed some of the most impactful and life-changing campaigns in Australia:
– Created over 150 road safety campaigns for Victoria’s TAC.
– Found new ways to persuade smokers to quit
– Warned people of the risks of contracting cancer
– Made workers safer at work and helped prevent violence to women.
– Encouraged people to save water as well as keep them safe when swimming in it.
– Helped the public understand how to vote at election time
– Promoted causes such as the Microsurgery Foundation, Motor Neurone Disease, stopping child-sex tourism and ending the trade in rhino horn.
This work in public education has taught us some simple principles that help change the public’s minds on social issues.
Who we are
The agency was established by partners who spent over three decades in major advertising agencies in Australia and the UK. The full team includes three even wiser women, all high calibre senior people who are experts in their fields. This combined experience means challenging briefs are solved faster and clients know they have safe hands guiding their campaigns.
A career professional for over three decades, Randal has played key roles for some of Australia’s best known agencies. In that time, he has been intimately involved with award winning campaigns for clients in a diverse range of industries. Prior to launching Three Wise Men, he led the world renowned TAC road safety account for 12 years at Grey. He is also a former Chairman of the RMIT University Advertising Industry Advisory Board.
Nigel began his career in London and moved to Australia via Hong Kong in the early eighties. Since then, he’s worked for Melbourne’s best agencies including Ogilvy, Masius, FCB, Y&R Mattingly and for 17 years at Grey. He’s produced renowned creative work that has changed behaviour for a raft of social marketing issues. And has received creative awards from around the world as well as a lifetime achievement award from the MADC.
Graduating from Swinburne University in Graphic Design, Peter commenced his career with Clemenger Melbourne where he worked for 27 years. He is universally recognized as one of Melbourne’s most decorated award wining art directors. With multiple awards at Cannes, MADC, AWARD, Clio, D&AD, New York Festivals, London International Awards and One Show. He joined Grey to work with Nigel and Randal on TAC and has been with Three Wise Men since inception.
After more than 20 years working in large media agencies, Jocelyn helped form Our-Media, the agency’s dedicated channel planning resource. Through her previous roles, Jocelyn flexed her strategic muscle for a range of clients across a broad range of industries. As a qualified trainer and media strategist, Jocelyn runs bespoke training modules and facilitates client workshops and ideation sessions.
Lynda is a highly credentialed creative, having worked on numerous award winning campaigns with a number of large multi-national agencies. During her decorated career, she has completed a Bachelor of Applied Social Science to pursue her interest in human behaviour. Having a mix of psychology, sociology and communication skills brings a new dimension to Lynda’s work on social change projects.
Kylie is a career project management specialist, with a calm disposition and acute sense of time management. Having spent the past decade working in major agencies in Australia, Asia and the UK, she has broad client experience. Adding to her capabilities, she is also a qualified nutritionist, currently completing her Masters in Human Nutrition.
